Firearms for law enforcement officers, security officers, and private investigators are for sale at discounted rates from MSRP. Sales to law enforcement officers for duty weapons can be sent directly to their agency with a letter stating that the weapon is being used as a duty weapon. All other sales for security officers and private investigators or law enforcement officers for personal use must be transfered to a FFL dealer facility, which purchasers are subject to a background investigation, a waiting period and, arrangements must be made with the FFL dealer to complete transfer paperwork.
How to PurchaseYou only need to provide us with two things to complete a firearm purchase online:
Payment: You pay us directly for the firearm at checkout.
Federal Firearms License (FFL): We cannot ship a gun direct to you, we do ship to the local FFL dealer of your choice. Here is how to arrange a shipment and transfer with a FFL dealer:Find a licensed FFL dealer in your area.Contact the dealer and let them know you would like to receive a firearm for transfer from KNUREK INVESTIGATIONS. Be sure to ask about their FFL transfer fee, commonly around $25-$35 but varies by state.If you agree to their fee, arrange the transfer with your FFL dealer. (We do not arrange the transfer)Provide your dealer with our fax number (800.909.0013) or email address (guns@kiprivateeye.com) where they can send a copy of their FFL. Please ask the FFL dealer to include your order number with a copy of their license. VERY IMPORTANT: Once the firearm is ready to be picked up at your FFL, Please INSPECT THE FIREARM THOROUGHLY to make sure it is exactly what you ordered and that there are no defects with the firearm. If there are any problems whatsoever, DO NOT ACCEPT THE TRANSFER !! We will gladly have the firearm picked up and returned to us at our expense and provide you with your choice of a replacement or full refund. Once you accept the transfer all firearm sales are final and cannot be returned.
